Anderson joined the Department of Wood Science at The University of British Columbia in January 2022 as a Ph.D. student. He works under the supervision of Professors Emily Cranston and Mark Martinez. Anderson focuses on creating tracers for micro-CT visualization to produce bulky fibres for products with enhanced mechanical properties and water absorbency. He received his MSc degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (2020) and his BSc degree in Materials Engineering (2017) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
